How many emails can I send?

Free includes 1,000 emails a month, Starter 50,000, Pro 200,000 and Enterprise 800,000. Daily and hourly limits protect your domain's reputation.

Do I need my own domain?

Yes. Emails are sent from an address on a domain you verify in TickOS with SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, so they come from your brand and land in the inbox.

Can I send through SMTP instead of the API?

Yes. Use smtp.tickos.dev on port 587 with STARTTLS, the username tickos_user and an API key as the password. The same domain rules and limits apply.

Is it the same as Broadcast?

No. Transactional email is one-to-one email your app triggers, like receipts or password resets. Broadcast is for newsletters and announcements to a contact group.

What happens with addresses that bounce?

Bounces are recorded on the contact. Addresses with repeated bounces are suppressed so you don't keep sending to them, and you can clear the suppression from the contact page.
